on Open Quantum Systems and Quantum Information in the Chemical Sciences
TexQ Winter School on Open Quantum Systems & Quantum Information, is a week-long intensive program for PhD students and Postdocs in theoretical and applied chemical physics. Taking place in Winter 2026 in Wimberley, Texas, the program builds foundational intuition for open-system dynamics with an emphasis on molecular and chemical contexts. As quantum information science converges with chemistry, we’ll examine coherence and entanglement as resources for emerging technologies. The school addresses key training gaps through lectures, tutorials, and hands-on sessions on quantum light–matter interactions, open-system dynamics, and quantum coherence in chemical systems.
